This unique and historic cottage, recently refurbished to a very high standard, sits near the heart of the small market town of Tregaron. "Yr Hen Orsaf Dan" (to use it's welsh name) provides an excellent base to explore some of the last great unspoiled upland areas of England and Wales, the Cambrian Mountains, akin to the Scottish Highlands in its character. Or the views can be simply enjoyed from the living room through a picture window running the entire height of the building.
To make the most of the stunning views the house is upside down: Upstairs there is a beamed open plan living room and kitchen. The fitted kitchen has an oven with ceramic hob and extractor; washing machine; microwave; full cutlery, crockery and a ten piece cooking sets. Dish clothes and tea towels are included. The comfortable and spacious lounge has two comfy double sofas and a widescreen TV with freesat card and DVD player.
The two bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs - the cottage sleeps four. The master bedroom has a double bed with orthopaedic mattress, a large double wardrobe and a long mirror. The smaller bedroom has bunk beds and a five drawer cabinet. Bed clothes and towels are provided. The bathroom has a large, curved, double door shower cubicle. The impressive tiled hall is open the full height of the building.

Outside the cottage there is a large, off road parking area with space for 4 cars. There are steps or a wheel chair ramp leading to a decking balcony outside the front door. Through the back door a stone staircase leads to a terrace garden that sits above the cottage. From here you can really enjoy the views over the mountains behind Tregaron. The garden is entirely enclosed so suitable for pets.

Hollywood Cottage - Hollywood holiday cottage, or to use its proper Welsh name Llwyncelyn ('Klooinkelin'), is a secluded 18th century cottage in the Cambrian Mountains of Mid Wales. It sits next to the river in the upper reaches of the steep-sided Twrch valley, nestled amongst woodland, fields and wetlands.

Everything is included in the price - no hidden extras:
- Electricity, heating (electric oil-filled radiators) and hot water costs are all included in the rental fee
- Bed linen, towels and dishcloths are provided.
- There is a fully stocked kitchen with full crockery and cutlery sets and a range of pots and pans
Pets are welcome I just ask that you keep them off the furniture.
WARNING: Raised garden and steep steps. There are a steep set of steps that lead to a (fenced) raised garden at the back of the property, and there is a rocky uneven area at the end of the garden so we wouldn't recommend you leave young-children outside unattended.
